Ideal for blankets on offshore racing yachts and bush hikers. Searugs are made of 3 layers of synthetic material, put together in such a way that it conserves body heat but allows moisture to escape. If you get soaking wet from sea water or rain and wrap the blanket around you orange side out and you will be warm in minutes and dry within an hour or so. These blankets have been tried and proved to work by yachtsmen, bush walkers, Water Police and NSW Rescue Staff. The bright orange colour can be used to attract attention when in distress. When reversed with the blue side outermost the blanket allows the body to ventilate in warmer environments.
